Why Equilibrium?

In order to design worlds that work in harmony, we must find the equal balance between our internal wants, and our external desires; what we perceive externally
impacts ‘us’ internally, and what we feel internally, impacts what we create externally. It is essentially the yin and yang which compromises our reality. As designers
we must be concerned with both quantities (the internal and the external variables) and measure them equally in order to facilitate designs that fulfill our wants and
needs. Think of equilibrium as the formula for happiness – it necessitates the balance between both the internal and external forces.

The triad of parallel lines in the Equilibrium emblem transcends mere representation of the letter “E” or the concept of equality (=); it delves into the significance,
symbolizing the key focus of this studio’s identity, “mind,” “body,” and “connection”. These three pillars synergize, forging the essential equilibrium that underscores a state of happiness and well-being.
